Non-profit firefighters' hockey club
Charity funds raised to date:
The goal of the Madison Firefighters Hockey Club is to support charitable ambitions within the community and maintain physical fitness through the competitive sport of ice hockey. These accomplishments are achieved through the support and collaboration of Local-311 Charities.
Every year, the Madison Fire Department takes on the Madison Police Department in a charitable hockey game known as 'Battle of the Badges.' All proceeds go toward local community charitable aspirations. Please click on the link for more details.
The inaugural 2012 Mad-City 'Fire on Ice' Tournament was a tremendous success. Firefighter hockey players made their way to Madison from all over the Midwest to compete for the 'Fire on Ice' trophy. We were able to bring in over $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, MIA Disabled Ice Program and L-311 Charities. To date, we've raised over $84,000 for various charities
