2017 Mad-City 'Fire on Ice' Hockey Classic

  Dates: April 21-23, 2017

The Mad-City 'Fire on Ice' Tourney is a charitable event sponsoring Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Safe Communities of Madison/Dane County and disabled youth ice programs.  This year we have a 12-team tourney bracket for your 6th annual tournament:

3) South Bend Fire Dept.
4) Beloit/Janesville Fire
5) Titletown (GB) Fire
6) City of Chicago Fire Dept.
7) Suburban Minneapolis Fire
8) Suburban Chicago Fire
9) Dane County First Responders
10) St. Paul Fire Dept.
11) Milwaukee Fire
12) Madison Police Dept.

2017 Recap:  This year's tournament was a tremendous success!  Special thanks to sponsors, players, coordinators, contributors, volunteers and fans!  We're profited $14,000 in charitable contributions.  In the end, the 'Fire on Ice' trophy went to the Suburban Minneapolis team, who edged out the Milwaukee firefighters in a tough matchup.

                        History of the Mad-City 'Fire on Ice' Tourney
The inaugural 2012 Mad-City 'Fire on Ice' Tournament was a tremendous success. Firefighter hockey players made their way to Madison from all over the Midwest to compete for the 'Fire on Ice' belt.  We were able to bring in over $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, MIA Disabled Ice Program and L-311 Charities.  To date, we've raised over $73,000 for various charities.  Below are previous 'Fire on Ice' champions...
